PUTRAJAYA: The government will draft a new bill to combat money politics, apart from introducing punitive laws against leakages and wastage of government funds.

National Centre for Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption (GIACC) director-general Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed also said all ministries were required to identify at least three issues concerning laws, policies or current regulations in order to curb corruption at the respective ministries and their agencies.

At the same time, Abu Kassim said the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) would be drafted to wholly address issues pertaining to governance, integrity and corruption.
