KUCHING: Datuk Seri Azmin Ali wants the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to trace the “mastermind” in the alleged membership irregularities and money politics in the PKR election. He said this at a dinner organised by Sarawak PKR here on Wednesday night (Nov 7).
It was reported that MACC officers had interviewed more witnesses on allegations of money politics in the sudden spike of membership in Julau PKR.
The division’s membership was reported to have increased from 603 on June 26 to 13,000 a day later.
Azmin called on PKR members in Sarawak to reject corruption, nepotism and money politics or risk destroying the party.
He said the party was built on the principles of reform for the people, not for individuals or families.
